Boylee's New Favorite

An Awesome Field Trip

The kids got to go to JPL.  I'm sooo jealous and sad that I couldn't go.  (There was a strict limit on the amount of people, and I chaperoned the last field trip, so...)

They saw a lot of very, very cool stuff, like the actual control room, the full-size Mars Rover model, a newer rover model that scientists were testing, and much, much more.  They also got a card with information about the Cassini space probe.  They even got to lie down in a long row and let a rover model crawl over them.

It happened to be Color Day back at school, and that's why most of the third grade is wearing green!

I took this pic just before we went to school....and what I really notice about it is how tired he looks!  Waking up in the pitch dark is hard.  Darn you, Daylight Savings!
