I don't know! He didn't say, but it's also just one of his generic "cute" poses.
My Mime-sense tells me that he is peeking over a fence.
He is doing the "Ike was here" pic that Ike used to draw on cereal boxes...like K said, it is of someone peering over a wall/fence/ledge...he is channeling his namesake! Amazing!
